Choose and coordinate table linens

What is the difference between a table cover, runner and placemat?

A table cover extends across the tabletop, a runner forms a narrower decorative strip, and a placemat defines an individual place setting. They can be used separately or layered, depending on the look and coverage you want.

How do I choose sizes for my dining table?

Measure the table's length and width, or its diameter if round. Decide whether you want the cloth or runner to hang over the edge, then compare the listed dimensions. Count your place settings separately when choosing mat quantities.

What is included in a coordinated dining set?

Set contents vary. Check the number and dimensions of the runner, mats and any other listed pieces. Napkins, plates, cutlery and decorations shown in a photograph are not included unless named in the package contents.

How do I coordinate different patterns?

Use one shared colour across the runner, mats and tableware, and vary the pattern scale. A patterned runner can work with simpler place settings; the designs do not have to match exactly.
