Table Runners

What is a table runner?

A table runner is a long, narrow piece of fabric placed along a table as a decorative layer. It can be used on its own or over a tablecloth, with a length that sits within the tabletop or hangs over the ends.

What size table runner do I need?

Measure your tabletop's length and width. For a runner that hangs over both ends, add your chosen drop twice to the table length. For example, a 150 cm table with a 20 cm drop at each end needs a 190 cm runner. Use this calculation to compare the listed lengths with your preferred style.

For a product-size example, the Jungle Fiesta Table Runner measures 13 × 70 inches. Compare these measurements with your tabletop and preferred overhang; other designs may have different dimensions.

Can a runner be shorter than the table?

Yes. A shorter runner can sit within the tabletop as a decorative centrepiece. Compare its width and length with the space needed for place settings, and choose whether you prefer that look or an overhang.

Are mats included with every table runner?

No single package format applies to the whole range. Confirm the selected listing's contents. For coordinated pieces, browse the linked runner-and-mat sets and check the exact mat count and dimensions.

How do I choose the material and care method?

Use the selected product's fabric and care instructions. Decorative finishes and fabrics can differ between designs, so do not assume every runner can be washed or ironed in the same way.
